Heathen sisters apricot brandy preparation:
1. Halve fruit, saving about ½ the stones.
2. Crush fruit well and add water.
3. Soak 24 hours.
4. Stir and crush well during this time.
5. Strain.
6. Put juice through a jelly bag. Bring slowly to a boil; simmer 5 minutes.
7. Pour hot juice over the sugar mixed with salt.
8. Stir until sugar dissolves.
9. Add raisins and grains.
10. Cool to luke-warm, add yeast and stones.
11. Cover, and allow to ferment 14 days; stir and crush occasionally.
12. Bottle and let rest 6 months.
