Holiday rum balls #2 ingredients:

Unsweetened cocoa |

Light or dark rum (I split this with Amaretto) |
| 1/3 |

Karo light corn syrup |
| 1/3 |
cup |
Fine chopped Maraschino cherries |
Holiday rum balls #2 preparation:
1. Mix crumbs with 1 cup of the confectioners sugar, pecans and cocoa and cherries.
2. Stir in rum and corn syrup.
3. (i like to use a fork at this point to help in stirring the mixture) shape into 1-inch balls.
4. Roll balls on remaining sugar.
5. Store in tightly covered container.
6. Refrigerate.
7. Makes about 4 ½ dozen.
8. The ladies really like this one since it isn"t overpowering.

10. ed hint: make them about a week before needed.
11. Bring back to room temp.
12. Before serving.
