Licorice liqueur ingredients:

2 1/2	tbsp.	Licorice root, chopped
1 1/2	cup	Vodka
1/2	cup	Sugar syrup (see recipe)
		-to taste

Licorice liqueur preparation:

1. Wash the licorice root and chop into small pieces.

2. Add to vodka and steep for 1 week.

3. Strain and filter.

4. Add sugar syrup and steep for 1 week.

5. Ready to serve.

6. Adjust taste with extract if necessary.

7. Yield: 1 pint plus container: quart ja.
